Ah! It's that time!
Or rather...it was that time in New Mexico! But hey, I'm seeing some leaves start to change over here in Dallas! ;-)
I flew back to Las Cruces last weekend to shoot a wedding, and while I was there, I had to snap a few mini sessions, of course! To my liking (and luck!), leaves had just barely began falling in my most favorite neighborhood in Las Cruces.
Now, it was a little tricky planning mini sessions from miles away, but I'd say this location turned out better than how I envisioned it! The lighting was perfect, the leaves big and beautiful, and the weather was cool enough for me to wear a sweater! All of these factors plus sweet families? I was having myself a GOOD TIME.
Seriously, I had so much joy after my minis! Since we moved to Dallas, I've focused more on weddings and engagements because of my work schedule as a speech pathologist, and hey...I sure did miss having families in front of my camera! It felt so fun!
One of the best parts about it was that most of these families were families I've been able to watch grow. Two of the families have grown by one kiddo since I photographed them last and another is expecting their second. It's a sweet, sweet part about photography, friends. I love connecting with and meeting people.
Saving memories for them is another sweet perk too! You can tell that all of the families I had in front of my camera are loved and joyful. Aren't they all beautiful!?
I hope so many of these smiles and leaf-throwin' pictures bring a smile to your Monday!
