Spectacular. Joyful. Elegant & Classic.
Once you understand how big of a wedding and house party Sarah and Dillon had at their wedding this past Saturday, you will instantly be able to judge the genuine character of this bride and groom--what lovable people, these two are!
Sure, the large number of friends can suggest this to you, but once you interact with each individual whom was a loved one of the happy couple, you know that the Jones' were a pretty spectacular couple by the quality of their friends, as well. To have all these kind, fun friends who celebrated all day with them must have added to the excitement of such a beautiful, joyful day. I mean seriously, as I mentioned in Sarah's bridal session blog, I'm over here like, "let's be friends, girl"! :)
As I arrived to the bridal suite with music playing, beautiful girls in colorful robes in which they were getting ready and mimosas in personalized champagne flutes, I knew it was going to be an epic day. The vibe coming from their hotel suite was so joyful, relaxed and upbeat that it set the pace for the entire wedding day. As I photographed the details, I became more and more excited for the rest of the wedding day to unfold.
While it was a warm August afternoon, Sarah and her 10 bridesmaids and 4 house party friends set outside to capture some of the loveliest bridesmaids portraits at the Westin Hotel. Sarah knew that pictures were important to her, because they would save the memories and emotions of one of the best days of her life. She was the most optimistic about her timeline, the amount of time spent outside for portraits and anything that suggested she could have more pictures with the people she loves on the day she said, "I do" to the one she loves. I loved this about Sarah. She truly has so many different portraits with so many different loved ones, and I am so very happy that the timeline allowed for that!
The Jones wedding day was easily one of the most easy, beautiful, joyful wedding days we have ever photographed. Jordan and I commented to each other multiple times throughout the wedding day how genuine and kind Sarah, Dillon and their loved ones were. It was truly a joy to get to witness, celebrate and capture their wedding day for them.
Sarah, with her lovely lace wedding dress, had this soft, gentle, confident peace about her the whole day. From the "getting ready" excitement to the gettin' it on the dance floor, she and Dillon had a blast dancing with everyone to a party that the DJ most definitely brought.
After taking communion, expressing their vows and praying together in front of their loved ones, they became Mr. and Mrs. Jones and smiled from ear-to-ear down the aisle just as they did as they under bubbles that their guests blew to send them away for the night.
What an epic, joyful and spectacular wedding day it was for the Jones! Can we replay this!?
