When you are overflowing with excitement because your couple just nailed it during their engagement session…
And by “nailed it”, I mean, they were totally comfortable being in love and having fun together in front of the camera. Because the goal is never to have couples who pose perfectly–that’s never a thing! And quite honestly, if I do have couples who are good at posing but lack the excitement and joy, it takes away from my own joy. Does that make sense?
Kevin and Lesley were so much fun.
So in love. So happy. So sweet to spend a warm evening at Arbor Hills with.
They were comfortable enough to take the 29034 directions and commands and beautifully make them into their own, natural memories that I hope they can always look back on and smile.
Because I sure did as I culled and edited through their engagement session! I think Lesley is just about as classy and lovely as they come–I adored her outfit choices, and especially loved that bright color pop against the greenery.
They sure seem comfortable and joyful in their love, and it makes me even more excited to photograph their wedding this upcoming March. I can only imagine how giddy I’m going to be after saving those memories for them.
Kevin sure has found such a gem in Lesley, and I couldn’t be more excited for them to experience all the joys that not only wedding planning brings but the joys that only marriage can bring.
