Classy Renaissance Dallas Rooftop Wedding | Cody & Cameron

September 16, 2016

Truly. Where do I start?

I felt so honored to be part of the Hill/Proffitt wedding. As I prepared the images for this blog, I felt as though I was able to relive the excitement, glam and romance that was Cody and Cameron’s wedding.

And I loved it.

I could feel the relaxation and fun that the bridesmaids had on the 29th floor of the Renaissance Hotel while Cameron’s makeup artist finished her lashes and lipstick.

I could feel the genuine sweetness from each and every bridesmaid who made me feel welcomed and part of the fun.

I could feel the sincerity and commitment in the personal vows Cody and Cameron exchanged.

I could feel the class and glamour that filled the reception room with each place setting, flower arrangement and sparkling detail.

I could feel the love between Cody and Cameron that was evident during their husband and wife portraits during sunset on the hotel rooftop.

And to wrap all these emotions up the best way, I could feel the party and celebration again when I edited the last of the reception photos.

Because you guys, this was a party. Mr. Proffitt knew what he was saying during his toast when he said that this group of friends knows how to have a good time. They do.

And atop a roof with string lights, music blaring and the Dallas city skyline within eyesight? Incredible. I don’t quite know how to explain just how close to a dream Mr. and Mrs. Hill’s first night of marriage was with so many loved ones celebrating next to them. I’ll let the pictures do the talking there.

But I’ll leave you with this: two people as kind, genuine and fun as Cameron and Cody were more than deserving to end up with each other….forever. Getting to know them more through their friends, family and their shared gift of expressing themselves through words, I can clearly see what they both see in one another. Because I see it myself.

Mr. and Mrs. Hill, you made an absolutely stunning pair as husband and wife, and your wedding was an absolute dream from start to finish and with every detail in between! Hugs to you both!
